media producers define the demographics through : age,gender,income and education and occupation  

2) Why are media companies and advertisers increasingly using audience profiling and not just demographics?
because the system of demographics in media are not diverse and do not provide enough information such as interests 

2) What psychographic groups fit YOUR own interests and lifestyle? Explain your decision and remember you may fit into two or three different groups. aspirer and succeeder-  Looks at how others view them, tries products for the visual looks and focuses on their status. The Succeeder – Strong goals and tends to be responsible. An aggressive attitude to life as they look for control. The Reformer – Intellectual and tolerant.
